Mainers are v distrustful of people “from away.” Debates are had regarding how may generations makes a Mainer. And we have programs designed to help immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers who we call New Mainers, because we want them to feel welcome and a part of the community.

What does that mean? Are they leaving? Have they left? Why should I believe anything this administration says?
