In other news I've not been invited to any parties, shindigs, hullabaloos or get togethers in 8 years and now I have 2 next month to go to. I am very bad being social at parties, or I have been. Maybe 8 years changes a person.

well now, even if it borrowed here and there, this is a very singular and original book. As The Vorrh by B Catling was and Steph Swainston’s Castle series. Definitely a five star recommend. Hope he doesnt take 30 years again writing book 2.

Yeah finished this last night. Not a good book, weird rushed ending, plot threads not completed, shallow characters and the main character is still a spineless drip.
