14.02.2026 01:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We had a permanent Switch room for Super Smash Bros tournaments, and every day we would play board games. Not everything about working in person was bad! Just the working part!

09.02.2026 21:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A collage of images of Cursed Court, designed by Andrew Hansen, art by Lee Moyer, published by Atlas Games: a doodle on a red sticky note showing the title and a snake curling around the edges; closeup of The Merchant, a woman in a high collared cloak; a stack of orange coins topped by a pointy crown on the game board; a white crown and coins on the board; the box cover
Cursed Court is the Game of the Week! Everyone knows this council is corrupt but you just need to know what their plans are. Is a festival coming up? A secret wedding, perhaps? Will something happen at the opera? It could happen today!

07.02.2026 04:41 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A zine of The Sasquatch Diaries by Sajan Rai. The cover shows the Sasquatch sitting in a field, directing the flow of blood from his spiked club with his very long tongue.
The comic from January 13th, 2026, showing the Sasquatch smiling and blocking a man from getting on a subway car. The diary entry reads: "I think I ruined a man's day"
If you aren't reading The Sasquatch Diaries, do yourself a favor and follow @planetsmudge.bsky.social to get caught up. There's gold every day.

04.02.2026 14:39 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A collage of images of Minecraft: Builders & Biomes, designed by Ulirch Blum and published by Ravensburger: a set of TNT, rotten potato, and sword tokens; a giant wooden cube made up of big wooden cubes; a sticky note doodle of the title of the game; the box cover; a creeper enemy tile; a player board with some buildings on it; player pieces among enemies and buildings.
**Minecraft: Builders & Biomes** is the Game of the Week! I initially picked this up from a thrift store as trade fodder, but I decided to play it just to handle these gigantic cubes.
For every cool component, there is uncool piece to match. Very jumbled production.
It's 2026 and I saw Sam Raimi's Send Help. It's so nice to see him back in his element.

27.01.2026 15:18 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0A collage of images of the game Samarkand Bazaar by Sid Sackson: a player card with 5 cubes on it and point table; an array of money cards; a green camel piece on a score track; a red camel piece on a space that has arrows pointing to and from it; a blue sticky note doodle of the title; a wooden die with cubes on it and a swirl of 5 colors; some market cards with 5 cubes pictured on them; a few cubes behind a screen; the box; a deck of cards with different arrangements of cubes
Samarkand Bazaar is the Game of the Week! This is actually a trio of Sid Sackson games that have been reprinted in the same box. They each have a different way to interact with trading in cubes: pure exchanges, pick-up-and-delivery, and blind auctions. You even get to roll a cube! Cubes!
