💡Insight 2: The post-#Covid19 fall is glaring.
Since the #COVID19 pandemic, EU health ODA has almost halved from 8% in 2021 to a five-year low of 4% in 2023. This trend is alarming given the ongoing global health challenges.

💡Insight 1 : Lagging Commitment

In 2023, EU ODA dedicated to health stood at a mere 4% of its total ODA (approx. €1 billion out of €25 billion).
This represents a decrease from 2022 and pales in comparison to the nearly 7% allocated to the energy sector. Why the drop when health needs are soaring?
