Have played ZPF a bunch over the last week and can confirm it's a top-shelf 16-bit shmup!

Update: was able to get a much higher score on a second ZPF 1cc! Also happy to report that the game runs great on original hardware, and on my Anbernic RG Arc. :)

Managed to 1cc ZPF! (no TLB though) The scoring system is quite engaging. My 1cc run score was quite a bit lower than my best scoring run, where I didn't get past stage 6. This is the next to last regular boss! Great game! @megacatstudios.bsky.social

Unlocked one of the secret bosses in indie shmup ZPF! It seems you have to no-miss most of a level with its corresponding ship type, shoot a bird who then provides a key. Do this for both levels of a type and you'll immediately start the secret boss fight. #shmup #zpf #indiegame
