This mostly makes sense but what do mist and cooler really do to put it in X tier? From when we played together cooler on your weapon doesn't seem like it'd be an amazing fit besides "high paint + good special" and mist im not sure is viable enough to be X, even if it's sorta synergistic

There was already a pretty big difference between good +3 players and the people who got in via social status or are being given a chance at practice (im ok with the latter); but now there's also all the people who should just be +2 and are being gatekept 😭

There are legitimately 3 entirely separate skill divisions in +3 now holy shit

On the spot: Ideas to try vs tough matchups, positions to explore, playstyles with different comps, bad habits, and updates on previous notes. When I have the time for a 2 hour rot these running notes do a lot to keep me focused and get something out of even bat rotations

Complain about your avenues to get good practice if those methods don’t serve you, but unless your skill is super ultra-far beyond where your results or merit is, there is definitely a good place for you to practice

Quickly adding my thoughts to the practice discussion:

Practice puts your improvements in CONTEXT and exposes WEAKNESS

Review seeks to understand CONTEXT and provide SOLUTIONS. This can be vod review or just post-game reflection.

The former is the means to the latter, analysis is EVERYTHING

A lot of players have reached out to me for coaching as of late which has been really nice actually! I think with where I’m at as a player I’m best suited advising d2-5 (give or take) pens; I’m pretty certain that even if I’m not the best pen mechanically I have a valuable perspective on improvement

Seems well intended but like from the get-go it seemed to just put a laser focus onto how the organizers made decisions. Y’all coulda done shit perfect and it wouldn’t have been any easier.

I don't think you understand, the ONLY thing I'm learning in X is how to fight liters IN X. Not even liter in general, this stuff is useless information for comp; Just X Rank. I wanna prove my mettle but this isn't testing anything. Im 500 away from my goal and yet im playing better than I ever have

Liter is the most unskilled weapon in X rank I'm so sorry to any of my friends who play liter, it's fine in comp I promise. In X tho I swear the past 10 mahi openings vs liter Ive killed 2-3 people and STILL we lose the opening cause liter gets to hit the easiest shots while exposed for like 1 frame
