Hi Philip, a video I just watched about your series by Exits Explained mentioned you had originally planned for Fever Crumb to contain more books. Is this true, and what would have been covered in the missing book?

I have them too, I was thinking more of my Classics students. This price would have been a slightly better for them, but what can you do ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Iโ€™m reading Thunder City as we speak! Definitely more Mortal Engines than Fever Crumb, but still a wonderful book. Iโ€™ll keep praying for more on the Scriven at some point in my life๐Ÿคž

They do and theyโ€™re amazing. Ron Haddrick (RIP) did such a wonderful job, and theyโ€™re each between 3 and 4 hours long. Once you start, you may never go back ๐Ÿ‘€

Have you read Rowan of Rin? I would argue itโ€™s close to the same level as DQ!

As somebody who is currently listening to DQ2: Shadowlands for the billionth time, I approve!

If you havenโ€™t yet read The Edge Chronicles, I cannot recommend it enough. Itโ€™s a long series, but well worth it.

Deltora Quest and Rowan of Rin being two of the greatest MG fantasy series will ALWAYS be a hill that Iโ€™m prepared to die on!

Great question! A lot of them stem from things Iโ€™d like to have read myself, in another world. Part of them also come from books, movies, tv shows, and games that I become inspired by, wanting to take small pieces of them for myself to create something new!
