I was fortunate to get it before 50 but I had benefits that were willing to pay for it.

I start fantasizing about taking it down on Boxing Day. BTW, it’s still up but I’m itching.

Pro tip: If you are attending a crowded event in winter, wearing a well-fitting mask like an N95 can serve double duty by keeping your face warm and keeping viruses away.

(yes, transmission can still happen outdoors in crowds or with close and sustained contact to someone who is sick).

Stopped using it when it changed hands but could never bring myself to get rid of it until now. My account is now deactivated and the app deleted. Thanks for providing that last push.

Another example of disinformation and fear mongering. I spent hours trying to explain to people this would not impact them but they all thought the gov’t was adding extra tax to them. People of modest means were galvanized to fury over it.

I had a colleague at work tell me he thought DEI had gone too far. I was completely shocked seeing as he is gay and a minority but then he explained that the company had hired too many women in high positions 🀯.

Statistic Canada found more than 13,700 kilometres (!!!) of asbestos cement water pipes across the country. I asked doctors, concerned citizens, and govt about it for @nationalobserver.com:

Scientists at Yale say long COVID is part of a β€œlong-established family of post-acute infection syndromes.” The biggest challenge is understanding its β€œunderlying pathobiology.” They were β€œsurprised” how often children are affected, noting kids are also vulnerable to β€œlong-term effects.”

Keeps teachers and kids healthy and in the classroom. Saves cost on healthcare, supply teaching and parents don’t need to try to figure out how to take time off to watch their kids.
I guess since they don’t generate profits yet, they are disposable.

Shingles Vaccine Lowers Risk of Dementia, Major Cardiovascular Events

Was fortunate to have no notable side effects. Shingles is awful and not willing to risk it. Also, the extra benefits of reduced dementia risk. www.idsociety.org/news--public...

It was the hardest thing I ever did and I thought for sure it would be easier with the second and it was NOT!

Also, I had one year maternity leave with each child. I could not imagine trying to breast feed, pump and go to work.

Why I’m in court over COVID vaccines β€” and why every Ontarian should care I appeared in court to appeal a decision ordering me to repay $600,000 for the COVID-19 vaccinations I delivered to my community.

www.thewhig.com/opinion/why-... This is a poor use of resources and quite frankly disgusting. If we treat people this way, nobody will go that extra mile next time.

Yup, and the amount of validation and testing that needs to be performed on a new facility is crazy. It takes years and at the end of the day, these companies are for profit so they will not continue to invest. Once that talent is gone, it’s very hard to replace.

Yes, in the end everyone will suffer. Demand destruction will decimate manufacturing capacity.

It’s weird. The boys are all being babied and coddled well into adulthood and the girls are taught to be independent and capable. It’s no wonder the girls don’t want to have anything to do with them.

I read Everything is Tuberculosis and it was pretty shocking although it really shouldn’t have been. It really isn’t new information but in the distractions of everyday life and the competing media noise, I stopped thinking about public health outside of my direct community.

This is the best visual representation presented to πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ ( πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ pay attention too) from a Swedish author as to how lawmakers keep you distracted with partisan politics when this is a global class war, and we’re losing.

Sometimes I wonder if these reactions are a lazy way to add content. That and the belief that some people are perpetually offended. I’ve started trying to ignore those reactions in my daily life, like when people mutter under their breath for a reaction. I pretend I didn’t hear.
