Today, Hungarians celebrate their national day, Estonians celebrate the 34th anniversary of the restoration of independence. Finno-Ugricists of all nations spend this day at the 14th Congressus Internationalis Fenno-Ugristarum in Tartu. #cifu14 (For more information, see cifu14.ut.ee .)

Plenary speaker A. Lukács tells that the field language acquisition is dominated by a few languages. There is a huge research gap in regard of the Uralic family even though e.g. Hungarian and Finnish are well-studied. #cifu14 #langsky
