When there is so much to be known, when there are so many fields of knowledge in which the same words are used with different meanings, when every one knows a little about a great many things, it becomes increasingly difficult for anyone to know whether he knows what he is talking about or not. And when we do not know, or when we do not know enough, we tend always to substitute emotions for thoughts."
A reminder that T. S. Eliot had the problems of today figured out 103 years ago in his essay and poetry collection "The Sacred Wood."

Also, you don't have to finish books you don't enjoy. Don't read to impress, read for yourself. Life's too short, love yourself, ok?

Day 6 of the #20DayBookChallenge and this one I specifically remember reading in Yr 7 for English and loved at the time. I may need to re-read at some point. It's "Buddy" by Nigel Hinton.

Written in pen is As he drifted away I could just make out his final words "its ok if you call me 'Frankenstein' instead of 'Frankenstein's Monster' I really don't mind" The end

Hi Bsky! I'll hop on a trend of books that have influenced you, I'll see how many I can remember to do over 20 days but first off we'll start with "The Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy" by Douglas Adams. A man who I relate to mostly towards his attitude to deadlines
