Also, love them or loathe them, the fact remains that the #NRL is a roaring success at the moment led by administrators who have had, and continue to have, success.

As you say @neilormston.bsky.social, the option there to have them is far, far more preferable than not.

I'm very much a glass half full person especially with #RugbyLeague. I love & follow my club, generations of my family have & still do. The old #SuperLeague days are great nostalgia. Despite things, particularly in the last 20 yrs, not being perfect this is the most deflated and angry I've felt.

People on here know my views on an NRL takeover (read back if you don’t, and want to know 😊). But it’s hugely preferable to the current situation.

I never subscribe to the ‘RL is dying’ narrative. But I do think it took a huge step back towards PT status with the recent decision.

Sad to lose legendary #RugbyLeague commentator Ray French. He was, to many, the voice of the #ChallengeCup in the UK commentating for the BBC across three decades.

I didn't know him personally but what has stood out from the tributes pouring in is what a nice man he was.

RIP.

What's the latest with that game against the French team?

#RL26 is visually better than any previous #RugbyLeague video game, but I have to say I'm rather underwhelmed and frankly disappointed overall.

It's good the sport has a game but if you want to compare the size & wealth of Football to RL then look at the video games. There's your answer.
