Building power with tenants, workers, & bus riders to create a culture of radical care in Los Angeles via Boyle Heights. Est. 2020
Join us July 1st for a community rally & vigil.
Weโll honor those taken by ICE, hear from families, share resources, and keep building our power.
Emma is one of many. Letโs bring them home.
But what they donโt understand is:
In LA, our care for each other outweighs our fear.
We are organized. You canโt disappear one of us without facing all of us.
We demand:
๐ซ ICE & DHS out of LA
๐ Free all those disappeared
๐๏ธ Invest in REAL public safety โ wages, housing, inclusive communities
On June 19, ICE kidnapped Emma De Paz outside the Home Depot on Sunset. She worked there for 25 years. A vendor, organizer, and community pillar โ disappeared for daring to survive and fight for dignity.
26.06.2025 18:16 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0But now, theyโre being punished. A fascist, xenophobic federal admin is targeting our city โ tearing apart vendors, day laborers, friends, family, and neighbors from their workplaces, homes, and schools.
LA is being made an example.
Street vendors like Emma have fought for over a decade for dignity & protection in LA โ and theyโve been winning.
From decriminalizing vending with SB 946, to striking down no-vending zones, to removing barriers with SB 972.
This is community power.
Please donate now to help street vendors! All the money raised will be distributed to vendors. www.gofundme.com/f/support-st...

16.06.2025 18:49 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0These attacks have spread fear throughout LA. Street vendors are afraid to work, and those that are working are finding empty streets and few customers. For many vendors, even one day of lost wages can mean struggling to feed their families or pay their bills.
16.06.2025 18:49 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Street vendors across Los Angeles are being terrorized by ICE and immigration authorities detaining people indiscriminately. Community members just trying to work are being detained without cause, without due process, and their rights are being violated.
