Moran Eye Center Researcher Helps Create First AI Tool of Its Kind Used in Eye Care Moran Eye Center researcher Adam Dubis, PhD, is contributing to an AI algorithm that assists ophthalmologists treating so-called “wet” or neovascular age-related macular degeneration.

Moran researcher Adam Dubis, PhD, co-founded deepeye® TPS—the first predictive AI tool for wet AMD treatment approved for clinical use. By predicting when patients need their next eye injection, the technology could reduce unnecessary visits and help protect vision longer.
