I’ve written a lot about democracy, but this may be the most important post I’ve shared here. It’s about the moment when political rhetoric stops being careless and becomes dangerous — when leaders start calling their own people “enemies.”

That moment is now.

To be clear, NPR did not say “almost” anything; they said Trump has willingness to push boundaries of the law. As in: their agenda clearly is to test the limits. “Ask forgiveness not permission” as they say in corporate.

The thing I miss most since I left my home state!

I've been saying for the better part of a year that Trump is on a mission to decriminalize corruption. To make it the legal equivalent of jaywalking.

I feel that more strongly now than I ever had.

This really kills me. Gutting. Unfathomably reprehensible. Unforgivable. And GOP Congress just rolls over and plays dead. That Honduran drug running enabler didn’t just try—he succeeded in flooding the US.
