Sorry to have to correct you. Factually the Civil War party wanting to spread slavery were Southern Democrats who seceded from the Union over “states rights. The Republicans, led by Lincoln, were an anti-slavery party fighting to keep the Union whole and driven by the war itself to outlaw slavery.

Why? As much as the acts are evil, they are also the result of systemic grooming by patriarchy and misogyny. The first head that deserves to roll is orange.
