So farewell to the memories, farewell to the characters and the decks. I hope that my friendships forged through the game can sustain the loss of this common foundation, but I fear many will not. So farewell to those that will be lost in this too.💔

These don't really fit or maintain the underlying structure, but they only need to last for a month or two before a new tarp is draped over it. At least until the novelty of the changing tarps wears off and we're just left to deal with the rot of the underlying structure.

A lot of what the game has been for me is about the worlds, the flavor, the stories and fabric that have cloaked the game's mechanical framework in rich, original designs. But WOTC has decided to tear this cladding off of their structure in favor of draping a spongebob or spiderman tarp over it

It's depressing as hell trying to sort through my cards to prepare to sell my collection. It really hurts to move to killing off my last long term hobby, something that I've engaged with for more than half my life. But the psychic damage I take every time I see some UB cannot be sustained.
