i think everybody deserves financial security no matter what their portfolio looks like but MAN is it damning how many times you see personal fundraisers from people with a decade of industry experience and it's like "games i've worked on: mass effect, d&d"... pay people! god!!

Interesting how fighting games are the one genre where this is something that is demanded, but not of other genres that are basically just multiplayer only endeavors. Also how fighting games are uniquely super difficult unlike other genres where they are all super easy to get into for some reason.

I think this week finally took my desire to work in the games industry that I've had since I was a kid out back and put it down.
