1. Can we collectively remember how we were feeling when we voted the way we did? Can we journal it or some shit? This country plays ping pong politics. MAGA for a while (they’re not Republican anymore), then Democrats, but Democrats bad so back to MAGA. Can we, for the LOVE of God end that cycle?

I have mixed emotions about what happened yesterday. On the one hand, the overwhelming repudiation of MAGA is so deeply heartening. On the other, I fear the reaction and retaliation by MAGA. I fear for the freedom and fairness of the 2026 election.

It will never cease to amaze me how much fear people have and/or wish to instill in others. I legitimately can’t tell if they believe the bile they spew or if they’re paid to say it. Neither option is a good look, but it’d be nice to know whether they’re ignorant, greedy, or both.

For 17 years I have relied on SNAP benefits. I'm on Social Security Disability, Medicare, Medicaid & live w/chronic illness & disabilities, 2x cancer survivor & Lupus. SNAP is ESSENTIAL for my nutrition. Me & 42M are experiencing a President who does NOT care if 1/8 of ALL Americans STARVE to death!
