I feel like New York has a waaay higher frequency of “group of dudes jackhammering a random hole in the street/sidewalk for weeks and leaving behind a shoddy patch job when they’re done” than any other city I’ve been to. Feels like this whole damn city is held together by duct tape sometimes.
