I think this hype cycle is a bit different from the crypto and metaverse hype cycles because it’s creating economic activity in other industries basically solely for ai. nvidia doesn’t really even make ai stuff and there is no way they would be this valued if not for the gen ai hype cycle

well in this case I think it’s a vindictive attitude toward the people funding and operating ai companies

I’m curious why you don’t think it would have significant economic impact? personally I don’t think it would/will crash the entire economy

I mean, if something that isn’t useful, but is overhyped crashes, it makes sense that it would be bad for the economy. I can’t tell if this specifically was one of the things you found confusing, though.
