don’t feel worth the effort. Streaming just feels like a waste of time and just… my *god* it just makes me feel boring and like… I get why the chats are always dead quiet.

I’m trying so hard not to completely crash out… but I’m so fucking tired…

I want to feel good about my music. I want to feel good about the videos I make, the video game streams I do, anything I’m doing to try to have a presence in the world but lately, I just don’t.

I’ve found a great love for band-pass filters recently. I used to avoid them (not sure why, it’s not I dislike them or anything), but I’ve found they can give my music some really cool textures when I use them that HPFs and LPFs just can’t

whichever’s better. And then yeah, just keep your eyes open I guess for labels and if they don’t have them out and ready for the repeat test, give them hell about it to whatever degree feels appropriate.

Once that’s done and you hopefully have some answers (and yeah at this point I’d have the labwork canceled if you can because blood in vials will hemolyze which may make results impossible to get anyway), then yeah set up a repeat draw as soon as they can get you in or at a different office,

Ok so I would get in touch with the office you went to ASAP and explain the situation. If you have the info for the physician who ordered the blood draw, give that, too. Anything concrete will make it easier for them to sort this out.

This track I would certainly classify as experimental as I’ve not heard anything quite like it before. It absolutely crosses well over the threshold of being traditionally (or even non-traditionally) musical into being something… amorphous but with a degree of coherence.

The time parameters for each channel are routed through their own random LFO, with differing intensities, so as the LFO moves, you get the classic noisy slides up and down through different delay times, and it’s like the opsix is being wrenched through infinite shreds of incomplete songs.

The delay is a tempo-synced stereo delay with slightly offset time values on the left and right channels.

Already kind of interesting.

Now, let’s talk about the delay mods. The #opsix allows FX parameters to be modded by LFO’s, which is something *every* #synth should allow for.

The sound at the base of this is pretty simple. The design of that isn’t necessarily important, it’s what happens with the delay and it’s time parameter that makes it interesting (and noisy). The basis of the "song" is a simple, slow A minor arp.

Been thinking today about #experimentalmusic and the more I think about it, most of mine - although unique in its own way and at times using maybe-unconventional combinations of sounds - really isn’t necessarily experimental.
