Time for another long break!

GL HF DD is best movie I have seen in years. Really been enjoying myself at the theater lately.

I asked for a Matty Matheson cookbook for Xmas and it has dramatically improved winter. Ever since I got back I have been cooking delicious soups with way too many servings and getting to treat my partner in the process. Had a great valentine making creamy tortellini and sausage soup 👩‍🍳💜

I'm really fond of the first season of One PIece (I'm at approximately the same place in both shows). An appreciably smaller bite of the anime that also seems to very directly understand what is beautiful and fun about it and get to it with the pacing it deserves.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

my takeaway is that going out to protests and organizing with your community like minneapolis has shown us and getting offline, where people are paid to parrot government propaganda, is the best action you can do and reminds you the average person isn’t insane or evil

Immigration is a fake problem. We have politicians on the one hand who want to use immigrants as scapegoats for our real ones and politicians on the other who are too cowardly to stand against them and tell the truth. That is the entire situation. Until that changes, people will continue to die.

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

I am doing my best to respond to this without a string of expletives. But let's be very clear. What just happened in Minnesota was cold blooded murder of a civilian by out of control federal agents, aided and abetted by the entire Trump administration and their fascist enablers.
