It’s truly tragic how many of these US war criminals like Cheney never face justice and die in their peacefully in their homes in their 80s and 90s. I want to be happy he is dead but I am not. The million people he killed didnt get the luxury to die how he did.

Pathetic avoidance of the fact that the nominal leader of the Democratic Party (for now) didn't vote for the Democratic nominee for his city's election. And he's too cowardly to admit it.

Retire, @schumer.senate.gov. This is just too much. You've embarrassed us all with your incompetence.

I can barely listen to any post-Donna "Looks Like Rain." Her harmonies made that song beautiful, and it was never the same after she left. It pains me when Deadheads hate on Donna. She WAS a badass.

bengals and bears was like watching two absolutely hammered dudes with beer guts swinging wildly at each other with their eyes closed outside a bar at closing time

Like I've said, Usha Vance has zero self-respect or respect for her children, so I don't for a second feel bad for her that her husband is lying about believing she goes to hell if she doesn't accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, throwing her under the hell bus.

Further proof that Trump officials, and the servicemembers carrying out these orders, see Latin American people as subhuman.

Yes yes yes yes yes! Finally I'm seeing this narrative start to break through. γ€ŠExtreme The Rock voice》 ***IT DOESN'T MATTER*** if they're completely guilty! They deserve a day in court. They are humans and have rights.

Again, 70% of Americans support marriage equality. Mike Johnson, presumably, still does not. So why are Democrats considered out of touch, Joe?

29.10.2025 19:18 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

The problem is with asymmetric media portrayals. The Republican you see on TV is usually some hefty white dude with a trucker hat on; the Democrat is usually the college student. These tropes have led the media to a false sense of what "regular folks" even are.

I'll tell you, @walshfreedom.bsky.social: he was working his ass off to make sure gay people couldn't get married, something 70% of the US now supports. That was his job. From there, he went directly into politics. That's what we call a career politician. So which party is more out of touch?

29.10.2025 19:18 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Longtime conservative Republican who wants to drag the Democratic Party as far right as possible has opinions on why the Democratic Party is too out of touch. I'm sorry, no. AOC was literally in a blue-collar job before she was elected. Mike Johnson was... what, Joe?

If you vote for this racist sex pest, New Yorkers, you're worse than Silwa voters. At least they're honest about where they stand. Nepo jackass has been lying about his stances (and eliding the fact that his governorship was a failure) for 25 years and coasting on his father's name for longer.

And for anyone who wants to pull the whole, "Families are off limits" canard, I give you Hunter Biden. And Michelle Obama. And Chelsea Clinton. Like, Republicans go after families all the time! So I'm gonna say it: Usha Vance is as big a piece of trash as her husband is.

I'd like the reporters at Fox News and the other conservative outlets that have been platforming Riley Gaines to ask her how she feels about Lia's death. I'd very much like a *real* reporter to ask her that, but Riley is a grifter who has never been challenged in her life, so it's unlikely.

29.10.2025 16:21 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Also, if Usha Vance had an ounce of self-respect or respect for her children and family, she'd be out the door on this creep. Just like Melania, she's only interested in what brings her husband power.

Not the point, but Vance's Trump impression still won't get him the nomination. He has a nonwhite wife; MAGA ain't gonna stand for that in their president.

There are others, but those are the ones who immediately came to mind.

Nope. The Pod Save guys are backing Planter to the hilt, Biden failed as POTUS, Axelrod signed on to that crap Cheri Bustos "study," Garland slow-walked the Trump prosecution, Plouffe got involved in Harris' campaign and lost... the Obama era produced and enabled all these centrists.

29.10.2025 16:09 β€” πŸ‘ 12    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Reminder that Barack Obama picked Garland to be a Supreme Court Justice. I'm not saying what McConnell did to that nomination was right, but Obama specifically nominated that weenie because he is a centrist. Would we have been better off with Garland on the Court? Yes. Was he a good pick? No.

So, so sick of people like Elon Musk failing to grasp a book most of us read in grade school and using it for his facile propaganda. He's so goddamn stupid. Like, unjustifiably stupid, given the access he has to information.

29.10.2025 14:55 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Never underestimate how incredibly stupid the ultra-wealthy are. Like, intelligence has absolutely zero impact on how much money you have. None. There is no correlation. Because Elon Musk is the second-stupidest idiot on the planet, after the guy a third of my country voted for for president.

29.10.2025 14:55 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

"As much as so many Americans lament that." Any American lamenting that Trump is not allowed to do something constitutionally should be deported and switched with an undocumented migrant who actually thinks this country still stands for something.

Y'know, "More" gets a lot of shit from phans, but I've always liked it, and given *gesticulates wildly* everything, the lyrics hit harder now than they did when it first came out. Great look!

Agreed. But even if they do, Planter clearly has judgment akin to Josh Hawley (for whom he has expressed admiration). That is to say, his judgment sucks and is disqualifying, *even if* his story is 100% true.

For the record: @jenpsaki.msnbc.com decided to try to launder a the reputation of a guy who worked as a merc for Blackwater, the evilest of evils in the Iraq invasion, and who has had 2 Nazi symbols on his body for 18 years. Her softballing this was particularly egregious. For shame, Jen.

Be nice if secular Jew @sanders.senate.gov were as willing to confront antisemitism when it involves people he previously liked as he is for people he doesn't.

It really *is* interesting how Graham Planter is being held accountable for his past actions. This dude who utterly lacks any introspection whatsoever wants Mainers to elect him. He hasn't had a decent answer to the question, "Why were you in a Nazi tattoo parlor to begin with?"

I do think it's really funny that Bill Maher proved he'd prefer a guy who sexually harasses women AND accomplished absolutely nothing as governor except grabbing women's butts over the Muslim guy who's inoffensive in every way. Almost like Maher *might* be a bigot.
