I wanted to ask if it would be possible for you to go a bit more into how everyday life was for people in terms of technology available? I always have a hard time imagining how everyday people would live since the podcast is (understandably!) focused on the big picture.

Love the episode, still not done but wanted to mention something that I think got forgotten: In the comics you read, Ulic Quel Droma (or however that was spelled) also got cut off from the force by Naomi Sunrider who immediately regretted it afterwards because of how violating it was.

Manual placement definitely sounds like a lot of work but also gived maximum control and the ability to nicely present it that is great for 2D.

Interesting! I've been toying with the idea of making a 3D map in Blender for a while but my plan was to use a spreadsheet of coordinates as a base to then automatically place the systems. Will take a bit of tinkering but is definitely possible. And there are fan-made sheets with that data available

I'm late but very curious as to how one even goes about such a project, if you can speak to that? Is it based off of a spreadsheet with exact coordinates that is then used to generate the map, at least partially? Or do you place the systems manually in roughly the right positions?
