As a researcher I am shocked about the lack of published research papers that discuss what it's really like to live with Strabismus/Binocular Vision Dysfunction, & the limited empirical evidence on the range of symptoms that are frequently discussed within the strabismus community.

Agreed. One research study suggests that around 70% of individuals would trade a portion of their life expectancy to be rid of Strabismus & the associated consequences. That gives an insight into how difficult it is to live with Strabismus 👁️👁️

Absolutely! I was at a comedy show last Friday night and the comedian spent a good 10 minutes on a joke about "lazy eyes" Obviously the same stereotypes of being stupid, untrustworthy etc. 🙄
