The pay scale in Hollywood needs to be steady enough that tv shows can safely kill or write off a character for good, not worrying about “well we don’t need this person more than a few times but we’d like them to get a steady paycheck, let’s have them hang on for no reason”

Robert Altman’s “Popeye” is probably eternally number one on my “How and Why did this get made?” list

My guess is they’re prizes from Attack of the Giant Card side events at big Yugioh events.

I can’t imagine anyone who enjoys VO thinking this is a good idea. It’s like having all of your birthday parties in one day then never having another birthday party again.

At least Peacock had a few other shows I was interested in, plus it was dirt cheap

Okay technically I regretted the once I couldn’t find a spot in the cheap lot and had to pay for one spot up, but then then being a shuttle away from just flopping in my own car is a good feeling after a trip

I don’t think I’ve ever regretted it, honestly

I’m so happy about how much CR as an organization has clawed back expectations from the audience and are prioritizing themselves with the new schedules and such

Arena really does excel in the field of “I want the experience of playing a little Magic and then forget about this for a few months”. Like I don’t enjoy the game enough to invest but it, like Hearthstone, are good to scratch a specific itch

Haven’t cracked a new soda in a bit, I do love an apple one though

I’m in the middle; like I want to generally promote the show and remind people on socials that I’m still working, but there is a point where I would prefer to just be sharing meatier appearances, named or not

I have a feeling that voice actors + Mage Arena is going to be some good content in the near future

I was listening back to a One Piece line I did and it was way higher than I thought I was comfortable with, but that also made me comfortable trying it for other characters and I’ve felt more bookable since. And it also let me audition for more characters confidently

I have definitely experienced times where I come in for walla and bits and a director remembers my range for down the line. Doesn’t always pay off, but it’s basically a paid audition every time you come in to record any small amount in studio
