This is truly outrageous: Fenway Health (formerly the Fenway Community Health Center) has a long history (over 50 years!) of offering the most queer and trans affirming healthcare in Boston. It was founded specifically by and for the queer community!

The story reports that the answer was due today. This is notable because once a defendant answers, the case can no longer be dismissed by plaintiffs voluntarily without stipulation from defendants or a court order. the anonymous plaintiffs might have faced discovery had they not dismissed Friday.

This is the toxic, totalising logic of "there are no innocents there". When I think of the victims, I think: it could have been me, it could have been my family. If I were in the wrong place, if I was born on the wrong side, I would not have been spared.

He was chilling with a friend when ICE officers demanded to see his papers. He didn't have them on him, so they detained him and interrogated him. He was eventually released — but with the ticket.
