โLetโs call it for what it is: bullshit. The truth is, politicians have talked about little else but immigration for decades and in the most dehumanising ways.

We have roads at 40mph through residential urban and developing areas that urgently need dropping to a max of 30mph; we need a 20mph by default policy for residential roads and around schools where School Streets schemes are not viable. @warwickshirecc.bsky.social

Anyone voting for Reform in Warwickshire needs to watch item 7 at 1st WCC meeting yesterdays which was appointment to committees. It was in such a mess that we had to have massive recess while it was sorted out. They have not got a clue how things work. warwickshire.public-i.tv/core/portal/...

This at least means we have a progressive local voice pushing for environmental and active travel considerations etc.
On 1 May you can give your vote to a party that is principled, practical and cares about the same things you do.
Vote Green for real hope and real change.
Itโs not just that itโs morally indefensible for Labour to cut more disability support than Tories ever dreamed of.
Itโs that we have been living in the fallout from the last round of austerity & they have learnt absolutely NOTHING. Making the poor poorer COSTS US MORE #r4today

Weddington Road bus stop poll without safe path.
It has been over 9 years since Warwickshire county council officers met to discuss bus stops for new developments on Weddington Road. It has been a farce and now we have muddy bus stops without paving, bus shelter without bus stop. Can we have it sorted soon?

Andrew Boswell is a principled campaigner who has put together a series of meticulous legal cases on the terrible future impact of the UKโs addiction to road building. No wonder Starmer is running scared, but this kind of smear is a) pathetic and b) straight out the BoJo/Priti Patel handbook ๐คฎ

24.01.2025 11:01 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Pre Covid there was a Warwickshire report into variability of new cinemas which said Nuneaton was fully served with cinemas. Have we been duped by the primary energy fallacy?
Critics of renewables often say that we cannot possibly replace the vast amount of fossil fuel we currently use with clean energy.
The good news is that we donโt have to. My article in Medium explains why.

Having new train services bypass Nuneaton & instead stop at a Parkway station on difficult to get to part of A5 is a totally stupid idea. It is useless for those without cars. Those with cars may as well drive all the way if they already are past Dodwellโs. www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/local-n...
