The Trump Shutdown is happening because Republicans (who control the White House & Congress) refuse to pass a funding plan to stop health insurance costs from doubling this winter. The American people can't stand to see their insurance premiums doubled.

They can't stand to watch 15 million of their neighbors lose health care.

And they can't stand any more hospital closures.

That's why Democrats are fighting to reverse Republicans' health care cuts.

First, get rid of the dictator. Second, reform the system to make sure another Trump can never hold power again. Strict term limits for Congress and SCOTUS, eliminate lobbyists and monies from campaigns, and hold every elected official accountable when they knowingly err.

Couldn’t Trump just use the $17 trillion he says he got from all these other countries to fund the government?

That should cover us for a while.
