So, stop with this nonsense.

The left has been consistently and uncompromisingly anti-fascist, anti-genocide, pro-civil rights, pro-healthcare and social safety net, and anti-oligarch.

The left has always been the primary opposition to fascism and you are playing your part on their behalf.

4. If you “will never forgive those who helped Trump establish fascism whether directly or indirectly” then you must be so mad at the Dems who:
- didn’t lock him up while in office
- voted to confirm his cabinet and SCOTUS nominees
- marched decades of neoliberal policies to the brink of fascism

3. You also assumed who we voted for.

Apart from the fact that many of us still voted for Harris, you think it’s owed without ever listening to what we care about. Like the vote is owed.

Maybe focus on the 74 mil who voted for Trump, the voter suppression efforts, and the irregularities.

2. You smugly suggest voting for the “non-fascist” candidate.

Which one is that Piglet?

The one who wanted to have “the deadliest military,” who allowed “cop cities” and increased surveillance, who funded a genocide overseas, and who violently cracked down on protesters?

That non-fascist?

It’s not that we disagree.

It’s that you’re just wrong.

You’ve thrown out wild assumptions and made statements you don’t seem to understand the implications of… all so you can keep being big mad at “the left.”

1. The entire actual left violently and aggressively opposes Trump.

Of the two parties, Democrats are “supposed” to be the ones that are most aligned with the left (they are not), which is why they expect votes from the left.

And yet when we try to push them left, they campaign with Liz Cheney.

So, please, give us the winning strategy we’re missing.

The left are the ones showing up to stand down Proud Boys and Nazis, but if they break decorum, get criticized. The left routinely criticizes the right, and when we include Dems in it, get dragged and demonized.

Enlighten the class with the power and agency that the left has to fight fascism (of which you apparently only include the GOP) aside from just falling in line and praising the sole opposition (Democrats).

The left has no institutional support or capital and is opposed by Dem and GOP alike.

Ah yes, the left are why Democrats keep losing and not listening to their voters and standing in the way of fascism. Yup. That’s it. For sure.

I really don’t think her assertion is true in the slightest.

Yes, there are fewer left influencers, but that’s not for lack of trying.

- It’s lack on major monied interests backing them.
- It’s not having the algorithm pushing left opinions.
- It’s an entire system that leans right.

On behalf of my sect of the godless, we don’t claim him.
