Thanks! Been doing some experiments with both Claude and GPT on verilog and since RTL is so rare in the wild it’s hard to say which is outperforming the other. Both had strengths, but I think the human needs to still be heavily involved in hardware whether we like it or not 🙂

Would you say it outperforms GPT-5.3-Codex by a wide margin? Might be switching up my models soon…

Which Claude model are you using the most? Is it all Opus?

Yup that certainly looks like it. Insane. I’ll see if I still have it on the dashcam footage tomorrow, ambulance in the lane next to me slowed down to about 20km/h couldn’t see anything.

Drove through one of those heavy bands of rain…it wasn’t rain. It was like being under a waterfall. Traffic nearly came to a standstill. I think I’ve only seen rain that heavy a couple times in my life.
