BTW I've read a LOT more #ttrpg but have played only 98, and I include HeroQuest and DragonStrike on that list since I used those games to teach people how to role-play.

Next summer will be my 40th anniversary playing rpgs. So I've made a list of all the #ttrpg I've played at least once. This includes my homebrewed systems and those developed by friends. With the Eldritch Hack yesterday, the grand total is 98! I want to have played at least 100 by 2026.

I ran a special #Halloween session 🎃 for our regular gaming group tonight. Using the Eldritch Hack #ttrpg, I ran The Dare a Call of Cthulhu adventure, for five or our regular six players, and two of their significant-others. It was a lot of fun.

When I get to play Torg I'll use Savage Worlds as well!

I've spent the last few years in a nostalgia trip, longing for new versions of two games I love, Fading Suns and Torg. Ulisses Spiel has published both, and I'm currently running a year long Fading Suns campaign, but not using their system. I'm using Savage Worlds.

I am a fan of OSR #ttrpg (not so of gatekeepers, intolerance, and their ilk), there are two things that turn me off a game, and I know are common to a lot of them.
Separate XP tables for different classes, and the classic spread of saves (Death Ray, Wands, Paralysis, Dragon Breath, and Spells).

Talking about Flash Gordon by @danschkade.bsky.social, I would love to see a #ttrpg supplement from his run. I know there is a Savage Worlds adaptation, and I own all the books for it. I'd love to see more content from Dan's stories. What other #ttrpg system you think can handle Flash Gordon well?

How do you use spy agencies in your superhero games? Do you play spy games like Spycraft, Top Secret or James Bond? I want to run a spy game set in the 1980s that becomes alternate history as the game progresses.

After yesterday's #Peacemaker episode I've got #superhero #ttrpg super spy agencies on my mind. I was fan of Marvel's SHIELD as a kid, reading back issues when I could get them. And then around 1987 or 1988 I read Champions' Primus and Demon. When Checkmate came out it became my favorite spy comic.

Watching a video about backdoor pilots on TV (see thr attached image) made me wonder, have you used the concept in a #ttrpg? Played an in game session to introduce anothe game. In a way, on a long-running campaign, it is easy to do, not do much when switch genres. Any thoughts?

To all my friends who are also fans of #ttrpg, how many fictional cities and nations do you know have been created in #rpgs with a modern setting? Off the top of my head, what comes to mind are Al Amarja in Over the Edge, Lakefront City in Gangbuster. What else can you think of?
