We definitely got caught up in the main storyline and it felt like the standalones pushed them out of the way. But I agree with you, their humor and banter stands out more with the Monsters of the Week.

Home sick, I enjoyed my X-Files episode selections. They were “Monsters of the Week” choices rather than canon.

And I thought the first episode of The Lowdown was rather enjoyable. I also enjoyed the first three episodes of Fallout more than I thought I would; Goggins ftw.
