Placards saying refugees are welcome in Scotland.
Very few folk turned out to protest about immigration in Dundee today but there were lots of us there to counter them just in case. We were a strong friendly crowd, singing and chanting all afternoon, reclaiming the saltire and welcoming refugees π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπΆ

How about 'Niel Gow's Apprentice' by the marvellous Michael Marra? Mentions 'the fiddle tree' in Dunkeld (Burns used Gow's tunes..). Others have released versions of Marra's song (incl. Fairport Convention).

With so much negativity in the world it was many happy breaths of positivity to finally witness the Spell Songs project live on stage at the weekend. Beautiful music, lovely people, all the good tears. And "let the raven call you home" to fade... πΆ π¦
