Running 5k Every Day For A Year to try to help the people of Palestine Help Geoff McQueen raise money to support Medical Aid for Palestinians

I’m in my 11th week of running 5k every single (sodding) day to help me not forget and try to help the people of Palestine.

I’d like to average at least one week donation a week to help keep the motivation up while I slog it out in the wind and rain.

Wind getting even worse.

We’ve now gone into COOK THE TEA and CHARGE EVERYTHING mode and I’m off under the stairs to get the candles out.

The wind is getting up now.

Already had a wheelie bin blown over and a limb of the cherry tree split.

If we get through the next 48 hours without the rowan tree coming down I’ll be surprised / happy.

Running 5k Every Day For A Year to try to help the people of Palestine BEST RUN EVER! Out early before Mrs McQ goes to work. Turn right instead of left when I set off and head off through the village to go to the Samye Ling monastery and back. The field next to the house...

I’m killing my legs by running 5k every day for a year and hoping to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians as I do so.

I’m into my tenth week now so I’m looking for my tenth donation.

I enjoy being active and organised but I’m willing to give it up to avoid this hideous consequence.

I’m finding watching the #RyderCup kind of difficult to handle as it means continued exposure to the worst kind of Americans.

Today I am remembering living and working in Salford back in the time when you could hire a Mobike to cycle in and out.

I could never find one as they all ended up in the canal.

Today, here in Eskdalemuir, one has turned up though.
