I am not trans. Trans rights are not optional. If we’re trading people for power then burn this place down. Don't be boring if other options are on the table.

You can keep deflecting by attacking brown Muslims, but never forget that you are worse because you are a White Christian and you provide cover for Zionist Jews who hate your people.” Below that is an embedded reply from Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog) with a blue verification check. His post begins: > “Wow this guy seems upset. But why would I debate Israel’s influence on American politics? I don’t think any foreign government should have any influence over our country. He wants me to defend a position I don’t even hold because he’s too chickenshit to debate the areas…” At the bottom of the screenshot is a timestamp: “5:00 PM · Nov 9, 2025 · 775.6K Views.”
Watching Matt Walsh get eaten alive by the Nazi wing of the Republican party is something else.

To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

Someone just asked me "but is political gain (vs Trump) worth seismic political risk?"
Allowing Trump to function as a lawless dictator without any pushback from Congress IS the seismic political risk here.
Perhaps a better idea would have been to write to the senators and ask them to write thank you letters to all the people who are starving because of their choices and assure them its going to be worth it for a bigger payoff at the end.

Any Senate Democrats who vote to cave are feckless, weak-willed and gullible — or even worse. The American people want you to hold the line and keep on fighting.

An end to the shutdown is in sight. A senior Dem Senator tells me there will be more than enough Democrats to vote in favor of re-opening the government tonight. They’ll get a promise of a vote on health care — but nothing more. Most of the Democratic leadership will likely vote against it.
“A promise of a vote on healthcare” is nothing
