I hope that Congressional action, if it is taken, is enough. The administration hasn’t had any respect for Congressionally mandated funding so far.

If you and other Dems aren’t attending, what prevents Republicans from taking up all the seats and saying Democrats have abandoned their responsibilities? I don’t love the look of empty Dem seats.

I’ve been paying into Social Security since I got my first paycheck at 14 years old, and I’m sure as hell not going to roll over and let this administration decide I shouldn’t get the benefits I’ve funded for the past 34 years.
