On 1 August 2025, the 12th AEMS Summer University wrapped up, leaving behind unforgettable talks, hands on workshops, and countless “aha!” moments for our global community of students and professionals!

The official opening of the summer schools.

For that we had a panel discussion about “Democracy in a changing climate” with Michaela Krömer, Doris Österreicher, Valerie Huber and Thomas Thaler.🌷

Trough out the day Sophie Charrois organised amazing peer-to-peer session, where the participants talked about their experiences with money and their connections to money🌷🌷

After a productive morning about introduction to system thinking and economic theories with Nathalie Spittler, Daniel Körner and Mathias Kirchner, we welcomed Colleen Schneider at the AEMS-program. She talked about the History of Money with the participants💸💸.

The AEMS 2025 programme is now underway in Vienna! 🙌

Over the next three weeks, 43 students from 28 countries will explore alternative approaches to economics and sustainability through expert lectures, workshops and group discussions.
