Lukas MacNaughton has received a green card and will no longer count as an international (DCU now has one open international slot)

DC United's GAM total has grown from 122k to 669K since 3/7/25

When you don't have to worry about 4 different competitions you can prioritize any "secondary" comp differently. Also, I think MLS entering in the Ro32 sweetened the pot for certain MLS teams/coaches (thinking specifically about DCU and CHI).
