I wish people would recognize that being funny is similar to being athletic. Yes, some people are naturally gifted, but it's ultimately a skill that requires practice and study.

Do alter boys exist in Protestant churches? Watching #whitelotus and confused that Mike white would mention alter boys in association with a rich southern family. There's no way they're Catholic.

I feel like the end of episode 1 of season 2 of Squid Games would have been more suspenseful if I wasn't muttering "boats and hoes" under my breath the whole time. Thanks, Stepbrothers.

I'm probably late to this, but A Fever in the Heartland by Timothy Egan is fascinating. It's oddly comforting to know that fascist bigots held real power in the 1920s, but fell apart due to their overall grossness and the bravery of some good people. An overall riveting read.

I had a foster with anxiety. Long, slow walks early in the morning helped a good bit. Plus, you get to experience the cranky camaraderie of pre-dawn dog walkers. No smiles, just nods.

I already responded to this, but now I'm invested. What about an oyster knife? Will easily pierce foil and peel it back. Also short and not sharp.

Could they use a paring knife to slice the foil down the middle and then use the knife to pull back each side?
