why does the wyrm have one, then? because Placidusax has one, and he's my favorite Soulsborne dragon. i'm not kidding, that's the only reason why. also gives the head a better silhouette. gonna be a pain to draw from the front tho

(reupload from twitter) part of why i've shied away from giving the wyrm horns is i initially went for a medieval-ish look and weirdly most depictions of medieval dragons just... don't have horns? but they got ears!

they don't have "nose horns" either but some got weird noses

if you can't tell using the CSP Gouache brush to make hair shinier has been one of my favorite things to do lately

colored it in + added more hair cause why not

...like i played Rivals 1 *because* it wasn't like Smash Bros. i didn't have to worry about shields or throw combos or ledgegrab shenanigans. i'd hop on and screw around with the story mode or workshop because i didn't feel like dealing with another sweat in ult ranked

pretty much my thoughts, especially the lack of identity/casual content. it's nice seeing the game get more competitive recognition. it's nice seeing devs work towards their original vision. but i also think that vision's... wrong? idk i feel like trying to out-smash smash bros is a losing battle...
