Academic friends who have served on hiring committees: how did y'all report / list that service work on your CV? I have a subsection dedicated to service to my department already, but I'm not sure how I might go about detailing the work (it was a large cluster hire with 10 campus visits 🫨)

Charlotte is a large, metropolitan city that's also one of the greenest places in the country (it's real pretty here, y'all). There's always lots to do—plus we have a light rail system in Charlotte that goes straight to campus (I haven't personally driven to work in the 2.5 years I've been here 🤭).

These are **great** jobs in a department with a good working environment, pathways to promotion, and amazing students. UNC Charlotte is an R1 and a large urban research university, and we are a standalone writing and rhetoric department with a focus on digital studies / technologies.
