You’d like to think that people in attendance at the BAFTA awards had seen I Swear before the ceremony and understood why that was shouted, and/or BAFTA told people about Tourette’s as part of the invite and that a fellow attendee had Tourette’s? Or is this way too sensible?

There are parts of each ST film that I really like but each is heavily flawed. As a trilogy it’s a complete mess. Multiple reasons why it ultimately fails as a good trilogy but, for all its positives, they started off on the wrong track with TFA by making that a homage to ANH…

Sounds good. I wonder how quick (and if) those restaurants get filled. I’ll try and go soon. I agree, Vue is free for me to park at and easier to get to but do miss there being a multiplex place in town.

Just went to have a look, missed those posts. Sounds good. Yeah I walked past (but not in) at the weekend and it seems quite empty, is there still a bit to get food/drink and stuff when you go in the main entrance? Always quite liked the buzz in that part (Vue at Cribbs not so much)

I’m tempted to not bother. I don’t get to the cinema as often as I’d like these days but may try, see what initial reviews are like. It’s a shame I’m not excited about a SW cinema event but hey ho, nothing lasts forever!

I used to get wound up about the inconsistent quality of Star Wars under Disney. But I'm rewatching Andor again and it's just SO good that I don't even care what comes next anymore. If something new is good, I'll see that as a bonus. If it's bad, I can stop watching/ignore it.
