I agree with you. My point was that he could fail and convince his followers he was successful regardless of the evidence that states otherwise. I honestly don't understand how people can fall for his lies.

In the foreground -- about 2 miles (3 kilometers) from the rover -- is a long ridge teeming with hematite, an iron oxide. Just beyond is an undulating plain rich in clay minerals. And just beyond that are a multitude of rounded buttes, all high in sulfate minerals. Further back in the image are striking, light-toned cliffs in rock that may have formed in drier times and now is heavily eroded by winds.

we live in an age where we regularly get photos like these from the surface of OTHER planets and this admin still wants to defund space science.

We have this absolutely beautiful photo from Cassini and people WANT this administration to defund space science.

So, someone comes to your door and identifies themselves as a LEO - possible outcomes, in the current US state of affairs:

1) Open the door, get assassinated
2) Resist arrest, get arrested

The current U.S. administration wants to gut science and stand in the way of our next steps in understanding where we came from.

Call your Senators and Representatives. Tell them to save U.S. scientific leadership. To save science.

Attended the protest. We had roughly 200 people show up. Considering how red my state is it was wonderful to actually see true Americans and patriots.

It was supposed to last 30 days with 5 flights. It lasted 3 years logging ~128 minutes of flight time in 72 flights!

Yes I hope we can solve this without fighting. People will be laying dead in the streets if fighting happens. If we must fight though, we fight for our rights and freedoms. They fight to oppress people. We have everything to gain if we win, they only lose their "rights" to be bad people.

Do you need experience in this field of study to be able to volunteer? Exoplanets interest me the most about astrophysics. It's what I want to focus on when I pursue my doctorate!

To get pardoned don't they have to release their names? If so a pardon will only keep them from legal repercussions, their names will be public knowledge. Something they are absolutely terrified about happening. It's why they're wearing masks.

Putin needs to be hanged for his crimes. Democracy must be tough on dictators as dictators ARE tough on democracies. Authoritarianism anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere and needs to be eliminated. Democracy is a fragile system that dictators will topple at the very first opportunity.
