Lessons in Magic and Disaster by @charliejane.bsky.social is gloriously, unapologetically queer and focuses on forming connections and trying to do the best you can for the ones you love, plus a magic system that seems to run on vibes. This book was messy in the best way.

Just imagine the sick art you'd get if every creator had food and housing security. The endless stream of groundbreaking stuff you'd enjoy if we weren't constantly struggling.

No-strings-attached, zero-means-testing, no-questions-asked cash payouts have been proven, over and over again, to be the most effective form of charity/aid going.

It gets people in housing, and it saves the state money. We know this. It's fact, not theory.
