Well maybe its just about Rustad appeasing the right wing of the Conservative Party as Sturko suggests in this interview. Or maybe she was to close to being able to prove that he cheated in the leadership review.

Either way this story is far from over.

Why is Rustad so worried about someone digging into fake sign ups and why did Sturko have to go?

Maybe he was trying to discredit Sturko's attempts work with party staff to discover who was behind the thousands of fake members signed up to vote in the Conservative's leadership review. Which of course Rustad only narrowly survived.

Why would Rustad spread that kind of rumor? Besides of course to take the opportunity to reminding the right wing of his caucus that one of his leading critics with in caucus doesn't share their "values."

I suspect that he was using women in the plural sense and that redacted name in that email is Elenore Sturko's, the openly gay MLA from Surrey-Cloverdale who was kicked out of Conservative caucus by Rustad last night.

Okay here is my BC Conservatives conspiracy theory. Last week an email from Rustad to his caucus apologizing for "spreading rumors about Conservative women" was leaked. The rumor was that an person whose name was redacted was having a relationship with someone in the Conservative office. #bcpoli

Here Come BC’s First LNG Shipments. Cause to Celebrate? | The Tyee Boosters ignore that more plants are a risky play meaning higher emissions and gas costs while diverting clean electricity.

The day it opens, LNG Canada will become B.C.‘s largest point-source emitter of #GHG, while increased gas production across the entire supply chain will also add to B.C.’s emission totals.

To make matters worse this pipeline gets its financial backing from a MAGA billionaire. Stephen Schwarzman is a key Trump backer and the CEO of Blackstone Investments, which have already invested as much as $150 million into this pipeline and the connected LNG terminal.

Just two weeks ago Eby's government was forced to admit that they are way off track to meet their climate targets because of deep cuts to climate spending and ending the carbon tax. Now they appear to be about to approve another climate wrecking pipeline.

Right now! I am occupying Premier Eby's constituency office along with a group of climate and democracy activists. We are demanding that the B.C. government says no to the PRGT fracked gas pipeline.

The Premier and his Cabinet should be fast-tracking developing a new stronger climate plan rather than engaging in power grabs and political games. #BCpoli
