Today Ken Sim and ABC voted down:

1. A motion to make kids safer on Halloween,
2. A motion to lower the voting age to 16 in Vancouver,
3. A motion to protect and replace deeply affordable housing.

On 2/3 motions, they didn't even have the courage to comment to explain why.

Today ABC voted down a motion to expand municipal voting rights to 16 and 17 year olds.

Disappointing but not surprising.

A party backed by billionaires and the super-rich needs as few young people as possible voting in order to stay in office.

Ken Sim never had any mandate to abolish the democratically-elected Park Board.

ABC disregarded reams of formal public feedback received by the City in their Budget Survey.

It's cynical and unserious. And it's insulting to residents and to the staff who put untold hours into analyzing and compiling the Survey results.

Ken Sim and ABC have got to go.

Vancouver parents organize rally to save land from school closure, development Parents stood outside Vancouver City Hall Tuesday calling on the city to pause the rezoning of Sir Sandford Fleming Elementary School’s basketball courts.

COPE School Trustee Suzie Mah was featured on CTV News.

At this family friendly event, a lady in an SUV tried to drive through the crowd because her daughter had to get to a soccer game and refused to do a u-turn. This is exactly what we mean when say drivers are entitled in this city. Unreal.
