Just finished reading this one. I’m usually hesitant to share what I read, because not every book is for every person, but this one was so good. It made my head spin and I couldn’t put it down. I don’t think I’ve ever empathized with a character so much.

Woke up today to a report of husband being woken up in the middle of the night by “weird chewing noise”. Investigation found kitten gnawing on peacefully sleeping kiddos hair. Received morning hug from kiddo, and this was on his shirt. This kitten is really out here giving free pre-dawn haircuts. 😳

Time for us to grab another coffee and commiserate.

Absolutely! Started with a fantastically boring read about the Habsburg Dynasty while kiddo was in utero. At age 5 he tested out at a 12th grade reading level, and now is constantly having to be told “no reading at the table/no reading in the dark/no reading while walking, etc. 😂

I loved Stardew Valley, and played it SO MUCH! I had a great little life built up, and then somehow lost alllll my progress, and I’ve not picked it up again over a year later. 😫😂
