Yet, it is the processor's speed and how well it handles the insane bloat of the "Smart" operating system, that will touch every aspect of the experience of using the thing aside from the picture quality.

Honestly, to me this is a cautionary tale about the importance of not relying entirely on technology that you don't control. Starlink could shut off service to Ukraine just as easily, and is only the whims of a billionaire in another country that stops it. I would be reviewing backup plans.

To be clear, China is predominantly interested in this because it significantly reduces their vulnerability to sanctions against fuels imports. Locally produced energy is a strategic sovereignty issue. Other nations should consider this aspect for themselves as well.

It's kind of crazy how some games have WASD so firmly entrenched in the code that you can't actually rebind them properly.
