I refuse to believe they're isn't a single person with pittie experience or experience in transforming a hurt little soul like Melia. Nearly 2.5 years in a kennel breaks my heart.

I think you're giving her a good life; your concern for her well-being tells me everything I need to know!

Rescue dogs know they've been saved. I've had mine since he was 2, he's 8 now. Wouldn't change a thing.

When I first saw her – you posted about her time as a bait dog – I got so emotional. I knew people mistreated dogs, but it's another thing entirely to see the evidence. I'm not religious, but I hope there's a special hell for animal abusers.
